Remembering those days when we were excitedly and nervously waiting for the arrival of Mika, we surely know that the GO bag is really important to prepare before the day.
Here are some things that we packed in our GO bag:
1. Toiletries, some hospital may give you a set of this, but you would miss that lavender soap and strawberry shampoo of yours to indulge you after delivery.

2. A nursery bra. If you haven't bought this and you are about 7 or 8 months pregnant, it's time to buy some now. Acknowledge that your size may be bigger than before pregnancy.
3. A pair of flip flops. You will walk often to the bathroom and nursery room, so prepare a pair of comfortable one. You will be thankful to have sandals on your feet when you take a shower in a hospital bathroom.

4. Two or three sets of comfortable sleeping dress with buttons at the front. No pants with tight rubber as you will wish nothing tighten around your waist and tummy after delivery. If you want to wear pants, choose something loose with adjustable waist like this.
5. A pack of face powder, body butter, and maybe your favourite lipstick to freshen up your face when the guests are visiting you in hospital.
You know you, woman.

6. A pack of sanitary pads, there were some maternity pads available, choose that one with wings. Don't use the thin kinds unless you double it. If you can find one with ions and no dioxin, choose that one also to fasten the healing process.

Hospital may give you some, I wore the one I usually wear with the one hospital gave underneath. Double protection haha.
7. Body towel and face towel.

8. A set of newborn baby clothes, include shirts, hat, mittens, socks, swaddling blankets, receiving blankets and diapers. Your baby will be wearing clothes from hospital while she is there, but you need a set when it's time for you to bring her home.
9. Paper documents. In Indonesia you will need a copy of your and your spouse's ID card and also a copy of your marriage certificate to be handed out for baby's administration. Ask the details on your next visit to hospital.
10. A set of changing clothes and toiletries for your husband. Yes, he will need to change and refresh him self after a long night accompanying you in delivery room.

11. Some power snacks for you and your husband. I pack some chocolate bars, biscuits and two bottles of green tea drinks.
I couldn't eat anything in delivery room, only some sips of tea, but the snacks are useful for PAPAMIKA to recharge his energy that night.

12. Upload some (many) songs in your device.
Singing and humming are proven to lessen the contraction pains.
